During the 6th Innovation Forum on “Innovative Services Heading for the Top of the World”, experts will present latest developments for the supply and trade of services on the internet as well as innovative markets for exchanging energy, information, and commercial papers. The program will cover theoretical approaches as well as examples of the practical implementation of innovative service concepts on the internet and in the environment of electronic markets. Guests from industry, science, and politics have been invited to participate. The Forum is divided into two blocks, the first focusing on the “Internet of Services” and the second on the “Market as a Service”.

The event takes place at a time that is characterized by research and teaching in the field of innovative services gaining importance at the KIT. The Universität Karlsruhe and IBM Deutschland GmbH signed an agreement on the foundation of a joint institute for service research in the beginning of this year.
