Google Focused Research Awards
Between 2009 and 2020, Google Inc. awarded Google Focused Research Awards for research projects in fields that were of key interest to Google as well as the computer science research community as a whole. The awards came with a prize money of approximately one million USD and were the company's most highly endowed research awards at the time. The recipients also had the advantage of access to Google tools, technologies, and expertise.
