Machine Learning in Science - Hype or Future?
Kaiserstraße 93, 76133 Karlsruhe
Everyone has been talking about AI, at the latest since the publication of Chat GPT-3 in November 2022. But what influence do AI and machine learning methods have in the natural sciences? Will they have a lasting impact on scientific research, maybe even lead to a revolution of how science is done? Or are the expectations too high and the hype creates a bubble that will eventually burst? As part of the CZS Summer School on "Machine Learning for Chemistry", we would like to discuss these and other questions with our speakers and then engage in conversation with the audience in an informal get-together.
Note: The presentations and panel discussion will be held in English and automatically translated into German.
