With 1,276 rooms, the KIT e.V. residence is the largest non-profit provider of student accommodation in Karlsruhe after the Studierendenwerk. In Hagsfelder Allee, the association is now building a student residence, funded by the Schroff Foundations, which will in future offer accommodation for 103 students.
